About Me!

Hey there, I'm Raph! I'm a graduate currently specialized in cybersecurity, networking, and IT, with a deep passion for the entire tech ecosystem, from hardware architecture to programming and systems administration. Coding is where the real fun begins for me. I love solving problems through code, whether I'm building web applications, automating tasks, or securing networks. I'm particularly fascinated by how systems interconnect, how data flows, and how to protect it all. I'm always looking to improve, and I welcome constructive criticism on my code whether it's about efficiency, security best practices, or clean architecture. If you've got insights or alternative approaches to share, I'm all ears!

...Even MORE about me!

I started coding a while ago in 2018. At the time, I was only thirteen. My city did not offer any middle school programming class and so I had to improvise when I wanted to learn. I started small with Python and after a few days, I was already making Blender 3D Scripts. It was nothing too complex, but it was good enough for a few 3D artists to look forward to my next scripts! Fast forward a few months later and I'm programming Source Engine Mods with C++ and jumping from project to project.

I am currently specialized in cybersecurity, networking, and IT. I completed my degree in Cybersecurity at Cumberland College, where I built a strong foundation in security fundamentals and practical applications. Beyond my degree, I've also earned industry-recognized certifications like CompTIA Security+, which has helped solidify my knowledge and hands-on experience in the field.

The Internet is a wonderful place filled with often untapped knowledge. Although coding is not for everybody, I truly believe that it is one of the best skills to have in our time. It's something everybody can learn once they've found the right resources online, just like I have. Everything I've learned comes from free resources from many websites across the web, and it's all thanks to this wonderful community that allows growth and encourages learning through mistakes and experiences!

As I've grown into adulthood, I've participated in many projects in small and big teams, and I've even led some of them. Although I have some favourite languages, I've experimented with most popular programming languages and I've learned problem-solving over simple code memorization. That means that no matter what programming language I'm using, I can always find the solution to the problem presented in front of me. There might be a small learning curve for languages I haven't yet encountered, but with the way I've developed my skillset, this curve will be the easiest it could ever be to overcome!
